Not much to look at, but it does the job right. NOT adjustable, which is just fine for me. Very stable and well made. Good price at $37 when I got it.

This is a VERY INEXPENSIVE slant board. I bought it even though many reviews criticized the leg holding bar placement. I am glad i bought it because it is a quality product at a bargain price. Its a slant board, you don’t need to wrap you foot under and knees over the bars. In fact you should aboid it due to the strain it can place o your legs and knees. The bars do have some adjustments and if you perform slow and smooth motions you will be fine. Thats really how exercises are meant to be done. Jerking yourself up using your legs diminishes the benefit to your core muscles and that is the point of s slant board. Its also easy to assemble. My 13 year old assembled it without any of my help.

Excellent, inexpensive slant board

I really like this slant board. I use it every day to do sit-ups, and it is very comfortable for that purpose. It is easy to move from room to room, and it is quite sturdy for how lightweight it is. I never have any sense that it might tip over. However, full disclosure, I am 5’6″ and 125 pounds, so I can’t vouch for what someone much taller and/or of a much higher weight than I might experience with the sturdiness of this product. This slant board does not fold up, but it is attractive enough that I personally have no problem storing it in my family room, behind my couch, beside my small stepper and a basket holding my exercise bands. It looks just fine there. All in all, I am quite pleased with my purchase.

Excellent price and basically a sturdy bench if you tighten …

Excellent price and basically a sturdy bench if you tighten all the screws very tight. But, and I believe others have already mentioned it, the pads that go under your knees are hard foam and quite uncomfortable. I am going to try a rolled up towel to see if that will help. It’s not the length of that knee bar as someone said ( at least for me) but the softness or lack thereof of the foam itself. All things considered the price is reasonable though so I would like to just give it a three and a half stars but I can’t so I will give it four stars.

Short but does the trick!

It works great! Now, you do get what you pay for in that it’s VERY low to the ground (maybe 2.5′ tall at its highest point) and a little wobbly when being moved around, but it gets the job done well! I’m 5’4″ and this fits me well. I’d imagine anyone over 6′ might struggle a bit but you never know. The directions aren’t great but it wasn’t hard to put together. I’m not assembly-inclined and it took me 20-30 minutes max to assemble on my own. Light weight too! I assembled it upstairs then carried it, assembled, to the basement workout room with ease (& I can’t lift much!). Sturdy once you’re on it – didn’t move or shift when I did sit up. Good purchase!

It works for me, a bargain

I saw ratings all over the board for this item. I bought it for my home gym and I am satisfied. You get what you pay for, this is not a $500 gym caliber piece of equipment. It is not adjustable for slant angle, so if you want more work hold a weight plate against your chest. The lower padded rod does had three positions to accomodate different length legs. I am 5′-11″ about 180 pounds with a medium build and I had no trouble using this equipment. If you are a really big person you probably would not be happy. If you are expecting a $500 gym caliber slant board spend more money for a better board. Again, I am satisfied. It was easy to assemble.
